Meet Kianna:
Hey y’all! I’m Kianna (she/they). I am so glad that you took the initiative to find support on your healing journey! With the trials and anxieties in our current collective climate, finding a good-fit with a therapist who creates a secure holding space can be challenging. I would be honored to be the safe person that walks beside you on your journey!
To start, I love to collaborate with and empower folx to connect with, nourish, and embrace all parts of themselves. I am so honored to witness my clients love and care for themselves and their inner child. I am passionate about supporting cycle breakers in healing from generational trauma and wounding within their lineage. I deeply enjoy supporting people in liberating themselves from patterns that do not serve them. I empower people to accept peace and joy while calming their mind, body, and soul.
Furthermore, I feel that authentic human connection is absolutely necessary in the therapy room.
A formal, passive, blank screen online therapist that nods and pathologizes is the farthest from how I show up in therapy. I am a human that experiences the mountains and valleys of life just like you! As someone in the LGBTQIA+ community, I discuss topics such as oppression and marginalization with clients when it is aligned. I am a social worker who fights for social justice and is active in mutual aid and activist communities.
I’m a trauma-focused, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who empowers folx to heal from painful past experiences and core beliefs.
I integrate multiple modalities, like EMDR and IFS, to mold and create a treatment plan to help meet your specific needs. Relational, attachment, empowerment, feminist, systems, and polyvagal theories are my guides. Parts of you have gotten you this far in life. They learned that they needed to do things such as people please to move through your past experiences. So, now is the time to support them in healing and operating in the present, not the past. Lastly, I would love to help you tap into belonging and connection while releasing feelings such as shame with online therapy in Pennsylvania.
